About Dr. Michael Hollifield

Over the course of his career in emergency medicine, Dr. Michael Hollifield has established himself as a dedicated and highly capable physician in the Gainesville, Georgia, area. After graduating from the University of North Georgia with a BS in biology and chemistry, he went on to pursue his MD at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Michael Hollifield experienced a large measure of success as a medical student, earning a spot in the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society and receiving two official commendations from the school’s dean.

Today, Dr. Michael Hollifield works as an attending emergency physician and senior partner with Gainesville Emergency Department Services, PC, in Georgia. As a member of the ED medical team, he sees patients of all ages in the emergency department and treats them for traumatic injuries, and medical probnlems. He also performs volunteer work at one of the charity clinics in his town.

In his free time, Dr. Hollifield enjoys baseball/hockey,international travel, and sport scuba diving.
